DISTRICT MEAL CHARGE POLICY 01/07/20

The SUHSD Food Services Department takes a strong stance against School Meal Shaming. In an effort to clarify our commitment to providing student meals, we have updated our District Meal Charge Policy. Please click on the apple button on the left hand side of this page labeled "DISTRICT MEAL CHARGE POLICY" to view the details. This policy will go into full effect the Spring Semester of the 2019-2020 school year.

FOOD SERVICES ECO-FRIENDLY INITIATIVE

The SUHSD Food Services Department strives to ensure our kitchen operations are as environmentally friendly as possible while staying within our budgetary guidelines. After careful planning and coordination with RECOLOGY, the Food Services kitchens and staff will be fully prepared to take the next steps in kitchen waste management. Kitchens have been outfitted with three bin resource recovery systems and all food service staff will be fully trained to sort and separate all Food Service waste into trash, compost, and recyclables.
