ANNOUNCEMENTS

FOOD SERVICES DURING "AT-HOME/DISTANCE LEARNING"
While students remain at home for distance learning, the SUHSD Food Services Department remains committed to providing nutritious meals to your student body. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students who are in need of meals during the implementation of the County’s order. All campuses will have packaged meals for student or parent pick-up during the following extended serving times: 10:00AM -1:00PM

Students will be able to pick up lunch and the following day’s breakfast after 10:00AM, from any school site. Students will need to provide their name, student ID # and home school site to receive meals.

FOOD SERVICES ECO-FRIENDLY INITIATIVE
The SUHSD Food Services Department strives to ensure our kitchen operations are as environmentally friendly as possible while staying within our budgetary guidelines. After careful planning and coordination with RECOLOGY, the Food Services kitchens and staff will be fully prepared to take the next steps in kitchen waste management. Kitchens have been outfitted with three bin resource recovery systems and all food service staff will be fully trained to sort and separate all Food Service waste into trash, compost, and recyclables.
